Sarah Green Wilmot, LICSW

Sarah is a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts with a focus on mental health and a deep commitment to individualized care. She brings a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate challenges such as anxiety, mood disorders, substance use, life transitions, parenting stress, and relational issues. Sarah believes in meeting clients where they are and supporting meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.

She earned her Master of Social Work from Simmons University. Sarah spent her early career working at Massachusetts General Hospital in the Addiction Recovery Management Service (ARMS) which supports teenagers and young adults between the ages of 14 and 26 and their parents navigating addiction and recovery. She has also worked in community and school-based settings. Her work has supported individuals and families facing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, chronic illness, trauma, and crisis. Her clinical practice draws from evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and CRAFT, all grounded in a compassionate, collaborative therapeutic relationship.
