Jessica Ferriero, Ed.D.

Jessica Ferriero, Ed.D. is an education and wellness consultant specializing in supporting teens and young adults as they navigate the emotional, social, and academic pressures of adolescence. She holds a Master’s in Applied Educational Psychology from Northeastern University and a Doctorate in Education from UMass Amherst. With over a decade of experience in school settings and outpatient clinics, she also teaches undergraduate courses in Counseling Theory, Introductory Psychology, and Adolescent Development.

Jessica uses a compassionate, strengths-based approach to help her clients handle stress and anxiety, build self-confidence, develop healthy routines, and set meaningful academic and personal goals. Her work emphasizes resilience—guiding young people to recover from setbacks and stay motivated in the face of challenges.

Jessica believes that supporting transitional aged youth holistically—academically, emotionally, and socially—is key to preventing long-term mental health challenges. Her mission is to empower adolescents and their families with the tools they need to thrive.

In addition to working directly with teens, Jessica offers parent coaching and consultation. She partners with parents to strengthen communication, better understand adolescent development, navigate tough conversations, and set appropriate boundaries. Her goal is to help families foster connection, reduce conflict, and support their teen’s growth with confidence and compassion.
